国連安保理の理事国 イスラエル軍のカタールで行った攻撃非難
アメリカを含む国連の安全保障理事会のすべての理事国は、イスラエル軍がイスラム組織ハマスを標的にカタールで行った攻撃を非難し、カタールへの連帯を表明する声明を出しました。
イスラエル軍は9日、カタールの首都ドーハでイスラエルとの停戦に向けて協議するため集まっていたハマスの代表団を標的に攻撃を行い、カタールの治安当局者1人とハマスのメンバー5人が死亡しました。
これを受けて11日、イスラエルと同盟関係にあるアメリカを含む国連の安全保障理事会のすべての理事国は、攻撃を非難し、カタールへの連帯を表明する報道機関向けの声明を出しました。
声明はまたカタールがエジプトやアメリカなどと協力し中東地域で引き続き仲介の役割を果たしていくことを支持するとしています。
このあと安保理では緊急会合が開かれ、カタールのムハンマド首相兼外相は、安保理の声明に謝意を示したうえで「イスラエルは地域の安定を激しく損ない武力によって地域の再編を図っている」などと批判しました。
またアメリカのシェイ国連臨時代理大使も「アメリカと協力して平和の仲介に取り組んでいるカタールに対する一方的な攻撃は、イスラエルやアメリカの目標を前進させない」と述べて苦言を呈しました。
一方、イスラエルのダノン国連大使は「ガザにもテヘランにもドーハにも、テロリストに安全な場所はない」などと述べ攻撃を重ねて正当化しました。
