自民総裁選 小泉農相が立候補に向けた調整を本格化
自民党総裁選挙をめぐり、小泉農林水産大臣は、立候補に向けた調整を本格化させていて、12日の記者会見で、地元支援者の意向も聴いた上で最終的に判断する考えを示しました。
石破総理大臣の後任を選ぶ自民党総裁選挙をめぐり、小泉農林水産大臣はみずからに近い議員らと連日対応を協議するなど、立候補に向けた調整を本格化させています。
小泉大臣は、閣議のあとの記者会見で「自民党の置かれた状況は大変、危機的で、党内の分断や傷を修復し癒やして、1つになって前に進めていくことが喫緊の課題だ」と述べました。
その上で「閣僚の一員として『公務最優先の中で対応を考えたい』と申し上げてきた。政治家が寄って立つところは地元であり、野党時代から支えて頂いた皆さんのことを思い、声をうかがいながら最終的に判断したい」と述べ、13日に予定している地元での会合などで支援者らの意向も聴いた上で、最終的に判断する考えを示しました。
小泉大臣は、初めて立候補した去年の総裁選挙では、1回目の投票で3位となり決選投票には進めませんでした。
総裁選挙をめぐっては、これまでに茂木前幹事長が立候補を正式に表明し、小林元経済安全保障担当大臣が11日に立候補の意向を表明しました。
また、高市前経済安全保障担当大臣と林官房長官が立候補の意向を固め、来週、立候補を表明する見通しです。
