大阪万博、東ゲート→西ゲートのシャトルバス運行開始
Osaka Metroは、東ゲートから西ゲートへのアクセス手段として、EVバスによる「東西シャトルバス(仮称)」を7月1日から運行する。料金は400円。

西ゲートからの入場チケットを持っている人の利用を想定した、「東ゲート前」から「西ゲート前」まで輸送するシャトルバス。8時30分から11時30分の間に約5分間隔で、一方向のみで運行する。乗車時間は乗降時間を含めて10分程度。
なお、6月16日より東ゲートから西ゲートへの徒歩ルートが通行可能となっている。
大阪・関西万博では、徒歩または東西シャトルバスで東ゲート前から西ゲートに移動するための予約枠として、公式チケットサイトにおいて、原則2日前の朝8時から9時頃を目途に、西ゲートの午前中の予約枠を追加する。その時点では駅シャトルバスの予約などは一杯となっていることが想定されることから、東ゲート前からの徒歩または東西シャトルバス利用を前提として来場予約をするよう呼び掛けている。
東西シャトルバスのチケット販売場所は「東ゲート前」乗車場所付近。400円の乗車券のほか、万博会場内・外周バス「e Mover」1日乗り放題券付き乗車券(1,000円)も販売する。e Moverの乗車チケットは使用不可。
東西シャトルバスの運行開始に伴い、e Moverのダイヤを変更する。東西シャトルバスを運行する11時30分までは一部区間で運行し、11時30分以降は通常通りの運行となる。具体的には、9時から11時30分までは「西ゲート北ターミナル」から「東ゲート南停留所」の運行で、「東ゲート南停留所」から「リング西ターミナル」の区間は運行を停止する。
