日産、自動運転レベル2の「ProPILOT」 27年度に国内量産化
日産自動車は9月22日、2027年度に日本市場への導入を予定している次世代運転支援技術「ProPILOT」を公開した。WayveのAI技術と次世代LiDARを組み合わせることで、一般道でも熟練ドライバーのような安全で滑らかな運転を実現する。

また、東京・銀座にて、次世代ProPILOTを搭載した試作車「日産アリア」のデモ走行を実施した。その運転支援技術は、英Wayve社が開発するAIソフトウェア「Wayve AI Driver」と、次世代LiDARを活用した「Ground Truth Perception」技術で構成される。Wayve AIは、周囲の状況を包括的に把握し、次に起こること、自身の行動が及ぼす影響を予測する能力を持つ。
試作車には、11個のカメラ、5個のレーダー、1個のLiDARセンサーが搭載されており、都市部の複雑な道路環境や夜間・高速走行時においても高精度な認識性能を発揮するという。
日産ではこれまで、ProPILOT(単一車線対応)からProPILOT 2.0(複数車線対応)と段階的に技術を進化させてきた。今回発表された次世代ProPILOTは、一般道を含む幅広い環境での運転支援を目指す。
日産はこの技術を、2027年度中に日本国内向けの一部量産モデルに搭載する計画。次世代ProPILOTは、運転支援機能に該当し、自動運転レベル2に相当するとしている。
