アメックス、Google Payに対応 Androidスマホでタッチ決済
アメリカン・エキスプレス・インターナショナルは、日本で発行するカードのGoogle Payへの対応を29日から開始した。
Androidスマートフォンのユーザーは、Google Payにアメリカン・エキスプレスが発行するクレジットカードを登録でき、利用できるようになる。他社発行の提携カードは今回の取り組みの対象外。
Google Payへの対応により、Android端末を使い、コンビニや交通機関でタッチ決済を利用可能。Google Payに対応した各種アプリやECサイトでのオンライン決済にも利用できる。
アメリカン・エキスプレスは今後も、モバイルアプリの機能強化などサービス拡充を図っていく。
