鹿児島 十島村 震度1以上が1900回超 当面注意を
トカラ列島近海では活発な地震活動が続き、13日朝も震度4を観測する地震が相次ぎました。鹿児島県十島村では震度1以上の地震がこれまでに1900回を超えていて、気象庁は当面、最大震度6弱程度の地震に注意するよう呼びかけています。
鹿児島県のトカラ列島の悪石島や小宝島付近では、先月21日から地震活動が活発になり、これまでに悪石島で最大震度6弱の揺れを観測しています。
今月6日には悪石島で震度5強の揺れを観測する地震が2回相次いで発生し、7日にも悪石島で震度5弱の揺れを観測する地震がありました。
震度1以上の揺れを観測した地震は、
▽11日は117回、
▽12日は30回、
▽13日は午前4時の時点で3回となっています。
先月21日以降、あわせて1925回と活発な地震活動が続いています。
その後も地震が相次ぎ、13日午前5時半すぎと6時前には、震度4の揺れを観測しました。
トカラ列島近海ではおととしや4年前にも活発な地震活動がありましたが、今回の地震の回数は過去のケースを大きく上回っています。
気象庁は震源が浅く、観測点に近いと震度が大きくなるとして、当面、最大震度6弱程度の地震に注意するよう呼びかけています。
また、十島村の周辺は湿った空気が流れ込んでいるため大気の状態が不安定になっていて13日は局地的に雷を伴って激しい雨が降るおそれがあります。
たび重なる揺れで地盤が緩んでいます。
土砂災害に十分注意してください。
