日本生命 内部情報持ち出し約6年で604件 傘下の保険会社でも
日本生命は12日、銀行などに出向していた複数の社員が保険の販売に関する内部情報をおよそ6年間で600件あまり無断で持ち出していたことを明らかにしました。さらに傘下の生命保険会社も出向先のメガバンクから内部情報を持ち出していたことがわかり、情報の不適切な取り扱いがグループ内に広がっていた可能性が出ています。
日本生命はことし7月、三菱UFJ銀行に出向していた社員が保険の販売方針に関する銀行内部の情報を無断で持ち出していたことが明らかになり、社内を調べたところことし2月までの6年間であわせて7つの出向先から604件の情報を持ち出していたことがわかり、12日公表しました。
業績を上げるための手段として日常的に行われていたということで、会社は会見で不正競争防止法の営業秘密保護の趣旨に照らして適切ではなかったとして陳謝しました。
内部情報の持ち出しは日本生命の傘下の生命保険会社も調べていますが、関係者によりますとこのうちニッセイ・ウェルス生命でも確認されたということです。
社員が出向していた三井住友銀行やみずほ銀行の内部情報を無断で持ち出していたということで、どこまで社内で共有されていたかなど調査を続けています。
情報の不適切な取り扱いが日本生命以外に広がっていた可能性があり、再発防止に向けてはグループ全体の取り組みも課題となりそうです。
