衛星画像から土地の利用状況検出 スカパーJSATとPenetrator
スカパーJSATとPenetratorは、撮影時期が異なる衛星画像からデータの差異を抽出し、土地の変化を検出するシステムを共同開発した。Penetratorが開発した不動産仕入れプロセスをDXするSaaS「WHERE」を通じ、一部顧客向けにベータ版の提供を開始しているもので、現在PoC(概念実証)が進められている。

不動産業界では従来、担当者が自分の受け持っている地域を定期的に巡回して、土地の変化や空き地を目視で確認していた。土地の変化を「WHERE」上で把握できるようにすることで、労働時間の削減や特定の人材への依存軽減などを実現する。
開発したシステムでは、スカパーJSAT独自の技術により衛星画像から抽出したデータ差異の情報を「WHERE」上にマッピングすることで、衛星画像を元にした、より高精度な現況予測が可能になる。
これまでも撮影時期が異なる衛星画像からデータの差異を抽出する技術などは存在していたが、今回の検出システムでは、月次レベルでの高頻度かつ高分解能に近いデータ差異抽出を可能にしつつ、低コスト化した。両者は今後も、正式版のリリースに向けて共同開発を続ける。
