アシックスとTDK、動作をリアルタイム可視化するセンシングデバイス
アシックスとTDKは、トップアスリートのパフォーマンス向上を目指し、練習中の動作を可視化する次世代センシングデバイスの共同研究を開始した。まずは陸上競技を対象に、足首などに装着するプロトタイプの実証実験を行ない、2027年以降の実用化を目指す。

スポーツの現場では、わずかな動作の違いが勝敗を分けることも多く、緻密なパフォーマンス分析への需要が年々高まっている。共同研究では、TDKの高精度かつ小型なセンシング技術とアシックスのスポーツ科学の知見を活用し、アスリートの動作データをリアルタイムで可視化し、客観的なフィードバックを提供するデバイスを開発する。
本デバイスにより、フォームやコンディションへの理解が深まりパフォーマンス向上が期待できるほか、研究所の外での高度な動作分析も可能になることで、より多くのアスリートのデータ収集につながるという。
両社は、可視化したデータをもとに、選手へのアドバイスやコーチング、シューズや関連ツールの開発も視野に入れたソリューションの構築も目指している。
