今回購入したのは「かぼちゃのパウンドケーキ」です。価格は490円（以下、すべて税込）。
秋の味覚を楽しめる、かぼちゃ味のパウンドケーキです。
公式サイトで見かけて「まだ毎日暑いけど、せめてスイーツから秋らしさを感じたい」と思い購入してみました。
パッケージを開けると、半透明のトレーに5切れのパウンドケーキが並んでいました。
少し離れていても、かぼちゃの香りがふわっと漂ってきてとってもおいしそう！
1個あたりのサイズは（実寸）縦4×横7×厚み2.5cm。ふた口くらいで食べられる大きさです。
公式サイトによると、かぼちゃ味の生地に、カットしたかぼちゃの甘露煮を練りこんであるのだとか。
ところどころにかぼちゃの種までのっていて「かぼちゃづくしだ！」とうれしくなります。
ケーキには1切れずつ紙がついていて、トレーから取り出しやすいのがありがたいです。
パクッと口に入れると、キャラメルに似た香ばしさが口いっぱいに広がりました。
味は、とにかくかぼちゃの風味が濃厚でおいしい！
しっとりふわふわでパウンドケーキらしい食感なのに、味は甘く煮たかぼちゃを食べているみたいで不思議な感覚になります。
かぼちゃの味を邪魔しないくらいの程よい香ばしさと甘さがあって、味のバランスが絶妙です。
甘露煮は小さくカットされているのに、噛むとちゃんとほっくり感が伝わってくるのがすごい。
この口当たりがさらにかぼちゃ感を重ねていて、目をつぶって食べても「かぼちゃスイーツだ！」とわかりそうなほどです。
ほんのり香ばしさがあることで焼き菓子っぽさが感じられますが、全体としては限りなく本物のかぼちゃに近い味だなと思いました。
かぼちゃの種は、ピスタチオに似たまろやかな味わい。かぼちゃの甘さにマッチしていておいしいです。
ケーキ生地や甘露煮がやわらかめなので、カリッとした固さが食感のアクセントになっています。
