吉田カバン、竹を取り入れたバッグ「LUGGAGE LABEL FILAMENT」
吉田カバンは、「LUGGAGE LABEL(ラゲッジ レーベル)」ブランドの約1年ぶりの新作として、ハンドルに竹を使った「FILAMENT(フィラメント)」を発売した。トートバッグなど3型をラインアップし、価格は100,100円から104,500円。

古くから馴染みのある植物である「竹」に着目してバッグに落とし込んだシリーズで、「VERTICAL TOTE BAG」「TOTE BAG」「2WAY SHOULDER BAG」を展開。ハンドルに焼きをいれた竹を取り入れており、よく手に馴染み、開閉の際もつかみやすいという機能的な面も持ち合わせるとしている。
カラーはサンドとブラックの2色展開。エレガントさと機能性を生み出すため、やわらかなレザーのハンドルやハミングバードを刻印した真鍮製の鋲などディテールにもこだわっている。
メイン素材には帆布を採用。厚みがあり丈夫で、また使い込むほどに風合いが増すため触り心地や見た目の経年変化が楽しめるという。荷物を入れた際に形が崩れにくくなるよう、鞄の底を包み込むようにステッチを施している。
内装には、荷物が鞄の中で重ならないよう、中心を仕切るような形で斜めにデザインしたポケットを設けた。
VERTICAL TOTE BAGは、すっきりとしたシルエットが特徴。サイズは495×380×170mm(幅×高さ×奥行)、重量は1,088g。価格は100,100円。
TOTE BAGはワイドなシルエット、収納力が特徴。サイズは540×340×170mm(幅×高さ×奥行)、重量は1,154g。価格は102,300円。
2WAY SHOULDER BAGは、トートバッグ、ショルダーバッグの2WAY仕様。太めのショルダーストラップを採用し、肩にあてた時の安定感を高めるとともに、トートバッグの蓋としても機能するようにしている。サイズは430×320×155mm(幅×高さ×奥行)、重量は1,258g。価格は104,500円。
