福岡「博多どんたく港まつり」始まる 会場や街頭に多くの観客
博多三大祭りの1つ「博多どんたく港まつり」が3日から始まり、福岡市の会場や街頭は多くの観客でにぎわっています。
「博多どんたく港まつり」は840年余り前の平安時代に始まった「博多松囃子」が起源とされる祭りで、ことしで64回目です。
3日午前、JR博多駅前で開かれた式典では主催する「福岡市民の祭り振興会」の谷川浩道 会長が「ついにきょうがやってきた。皆さん、心ゆくまでどんたくを楽しんでほしい」とあいさつしたあと、くす玉を割って祭りの開幕を祝いました。
祭りは市内の30か所に設けられた特設の舞台や街頭で「どんたく隊」が演技を披露するのが特徴で、このうち博多区の櫛田神社の舞台では郷土芸能の博多にわかや太鼓の演奏が披露されました。
午後には福岡市中心部の1.2キロ余りの道路を会場に祭りの最大の見せ物のパレードが行われ、思い思いの衣装に身を包んだどんたく隊が踊りや演奏を披露しながら練り歩きました。
福岡市東区から家族で訪れた37歳の夫婦は「子どもの頃以来のどんたくで30年ぶりに来ました。福岡の街がにぎわっているのを見るとうれしく、これからもどんたくが続いていけばいいなと思います」と話していました。
「博多どんたく港まつり」は1300を超える団体から合わせておよそ3万5000人が参加して4日まで行われ、2日間でおよそ200万人の人出を見込んでいるということです。
