新しいマツダのFRセダン「EZ-6」登場へ

4月25日、マツダは、新型電動車「EZ-6(マツダ・イージーシックス)」を北京モーターショー2024で公開した。
新型EZ-6は、マツダと合弁事業のパートナーである重慶長安汽車股份有限公司 (以下、長安汽車)の協力のもと、長安マツダが開発・製造をおこなう新型電動車(新エネルギー車)の第1弾だ。
デザインテーマは「Authentic Modern」。シンプルで伸びやかなクーペフォルムを採用した。ボディサイズは全長×全幅×全高：4921mm×1890mm×1485mm。パワートレインは、電気自動車(BEV)とプラグイン・ハイブリッド車(PHEV)の2機種を設定した。航続距離は、BEVモデルが約600km、PHEVモデルは1回の給油＋満充電で1000km以上を想定する。
足まわりでは、ドライバーの意図に対してクルマがリニアに反応するようブレーキやステアリングをチューニング。マツダらしい“人馬一体”を感じさせるダイナミック性能を実現した。タイヤサイズは245/45R/19で、サスペンションはフロントがストラット式、リヤがマルチリンク式。駆動方式は後輪駆動だ。
前後重量配分はBEVの場合、50:50を実現。高速走行時の安定性を向上させる電動リヤスポイラーも採用した。
運転支援では、車外からでも音声操作が可能なインテリジェントパーキング機能も新たに搭載し利便性を高める。
新型EZ-6は、2024年中に中国で販売開始される。日本導入は未定だ。
