指輪で玄関ドアを施解錠 LIXILとEVERING
LIXILは、玄関ドア向けのスマートロック「FamiLock(ファミロック)」に、EVERINGが販売する決済スマートリング「EVERING」を登録可能なキーデバイスとして追加した。

「FamiLock」は、スマートフォンやリモコンキーなど複数のデバイスをカギとして利用できる電気錠システム。スマートフォンをポケットに入れたままワンタッチでドアの施解錠が可能な利便性から、普及が進んでいる。一方で、充電切れ時の使用不可といった課題も指摘されていた。
新たに対応した「EVERING」は、Visaのタッチ決済機能を備えた指輪型のスマートデバイス。今回、玄関の鍵としても機能するようになり、指をかざすだけで施解錠が可能となる。EVERINGは充電不要・防水仕様という特徴を持つことから、スマートフォンキーなどの充電切れの課題も解決する。
LIXILでは「EVERING」以外にも、カードキーやタグキー、おサイフケータイ、手動キーなど、多様なキーデバイスに対応しており、家族ごとに使いやすい方式を選択できる構成となっている。
