千葉 四街道市 ふるさと納税 返礼品の高級イチゴ 実際は別品種
千葉県四街道市はふるさと納税の返礼品として高級で珍しいイチゴを送るとしていたのに、実際には別の品種を送っていたとして、寄付した人に謝罪しました。
四街道市によりますと昨年度までの3年間、ふるさと納税の仲介サイト上で、真っ白な見た目が特徴の「天使の実」という1粒1800円ほどとされるイチゴを返礼品として掲載し、38人から15万円余りの寄付を集めていました。
返礼品は原則、地元の産品とすることと国が定めていますが、「天使の実」は佐賀県の限られた農家でしか生産されていない品種だったため、4月、市に対し一般の人から問い合わせがあったということです。
これを受けて市が、市内の生産者に確認したところ、寄付した人に送っていたのは「天使のいちご」という別の品種だったということです。
この品種は1粒300円前後のものが多く、市は生産者に十分確認せずサイト上に掲載していたということで、寄付した人たちに謝罪文を送付しました。
市は今後、返礼品の確認を徹底し、再発防止に努めるとしています。
