陸上 世界選手権 男子400m 中島 日本選手では34年ぶり決勝進出
東京で行われている陸上の世界選手権、男子400メートルの準決勝で、中島佑気ジョセフ選手が、44秒53のタイムで3組の2着に入り、日本選手として34年ぶりの決勝進出を決めました。
陸上の世界選手権の男子400メートルの準決勝は、3組に分かれて行われ、各組の上位2着までと、3着以下でタイムの速い上位2人の合わせて8人が決勝に進みます。
予選で44秒44の日本新記録をマークした中島選手は、準決勝の3組に出場し、最後の直線で後方から一気に追い上げて、44秒53の2着でフィニッシュして決勝進出を決めました。
この種目では、34年前の東京大会の高野進さん以来となる決勝進出です。
