石破首相 コメ価格安定や増産への政策転換 推進を閣僚に指示
コメの安定供給に向けた政府の会議で石破総理大臣は、平均価格が5キロ当たり3000円台となるなど着実に成果が表れているとしたうえで、価格のさらなる安定や、生産者が安心して増産に取り組めるような政策への転換の推進を関係閣僚に指示しました。
コメの安定供給に向け、政府は1日、総理大臣官邸で石破総理大臣をトップに、小泉農林水産大臣や林官房長官らが参加する関係閣僚会議の会合を開きました。
この中で石破総理大臣は、備蓄米の随意契約での放出などこれまでの取り組みを説明したうえで「コメの平均価格は5キロ当たり3000円台の水準となり着実に成果が表れている。手を緩めることなく価格のさらなる安定に向けて対応を進めてほしい」と述べました。
また、流通の実態調査や毎年のコメの作柄を示す「作況指数」の廃止などを通じて、価格高騰の要因を検証する考えを示しました。
さらに「令和7年産から増産を進めていく。消費者が安定的にコメを買えるようにするとともに意欲のある生産者の所得が確保され不安なく増産に取り組めるような新たな政策へと転換する」と述べ、関係閣僚が一丸となって推進するよう指示しました。
