栃木 足利 観光植物園で約20万本の花しょうぶ見頃
栃木県足利市の観光植物園でおよそ20万本にのぼる白や紫の花しょうぶが見頃を迎え、多くの人を楽しませています。
栃木県足利市の観光植物園「あしかがフラワーパーク」では、およそ20万本の花しょうぶが6月上旬から咲き始め、ちょうど今の時期に見頃を迎えています。
植物園によりますと、花しょうぶはここ数年、厳しい暑さによって開花の時期が早まっていましたが、ことしは春先に冷え込んだこともあり、平年どおりに咲き始めたということです。
園内には15日も大勢の親子連れなどが訪れ、色とりどりの花のじゅうたんをじっくりと眺めたり、写真撮影をしたりしていました。
群馬県から家族で訪れたという60代の女性は「想像していたよりもたくさんの花が咲いていて驚きました。しっとりとしていて、とてもきれいです」と話していました。
「あしかがフラワーパーク」の小池智子さんは「花しょうぶは、雨が多い梅雨の季節に合う花だと思いますので、ぜひ多くの人に見に来てもらいたい」と話していました。
花しょうぶの見頃は、6月下旬ごろまで続くということです。
