「ジョン万次郎デニム」が新章へ。第4弾がまもなく予約販売を開始
ベルベルジンのディレクター、藤原裕とウェアハウス、そして高知の「ジーンズファクトリー」のトリプルコラボがまたしても登場。

「ジョンマンデニムプロジェクト」は、大政奉還150周年を機に、2017年に高知県土佐清水市観光協会（ジョン万次郎資料館）がスタートさせたプロジェクトである。日本にデニムとミシンを持ち帰ったと言われているジョン万次郎が伝えた「アメリカ」に着目し、1870年代にジョン万次郎が日本ではじめてデニムを作ったとしたらどんな服になるのか、という設定にもとづいて、デニムウェアが作られた。デザインはベルベルジン・ディレクターの藤原裕が担当し、ウェアハウスが生産を行い、高知のセレクトショップ「JEANS FACTORY」が予約販売を実施する。
今回、4回目のコラボでははじめて誕生したセットアップから100年後の「1980年代」がストーリーの舞台になった。ジーンズの生産が成熟し、工業製品として確率された時代“ジョン万デニム”はどうなったか。ファーストモデルからの変化を、現実の時代考証となぞらえながらモデルアップした。今回もラインアップはジーンズとジャケットの2型。4月27日（土）より、「JEANS FACTORY 卸団地本店」ほか、オンラインストアなどで予約販売受付を開始する。
