超ブラックなメルセデス・ベンツSクラスが出た！ 特別仕様車S 580 4MATIC long Night Edition登場

9月25日、メルセデス・ベンツ日本は、メルセデス・ベンツ「Sクラス」の特別仕様車「S 580 4MATIC long Night Edition」を、発表した。
S 580 4MATIC long Night Editionのエクステリアは。ボディ全体をブラックで統一し、Sクラスの存在感と威厳をより際立たせたのが特徴だ。通常モデルではオプション設定のナイトパッケージやAMGラインに加え、本モデル限定装備となるブラックカラーの20インチAMGアルミホイールやダーククロームのシームレスドアハンドルを採用した。
インテリアは本革ナッパレザー（ブラック）や通常モデルではオプション設定のハイグロス・スレートポプラウッドインテリアトリムに加えて、本モデル限定装備となるブラックカラーのイルミネーテッドステップカバーを採用。エクステリアデザインと併せて全体を黒で統一した。
さらに通常モデルではオプション設定のリアコンフォートパッケージを標準装備。助手席側後席がフットレスト付エグゼクティブシートとなり、ふくらはぎリラクゼーションが装備されるほか、後席左右にワイヤレスチャージング機能や、左右独立してエンターテインメントコンテンツが楽しめる11.6インチのMBUXリアエンターテインメントシステムなどが追加される。
通常モデルではオプションの「SRSリアエアバッグ」も標準装備。前席のシートバックの裏側に格納されており、後席の乗員を守る。他にも「リアベルトバッグ」、「クッションバッグ（助手席側後席）」を標準装備し、「SRSリアエアバッグ」と組み合わせることで、より一層後席の安全性を高めた。
搭載するパワートレインは4.0リッターのV型8気筒ガソリンツインターボエンジン「M176」に、電気モーター「ISG」と「48V電気システム」を組み合わせたユニット。エンジン単体の最高出力は503ps（370kW）、最大トルクは 700Nmを誇る。
S 580 4MATIC long Night Editionの価格は¥26,560,000。左ハンドル10台、右ハンドル10台の計20台限定となる。
