OpenAI、企業ユーザーの地域内データ保存を日本で開始
OpenAIは、ChatGPT EnterpriseとChatGPT Edu、APIプラットフォームにおいて、日本とインド、シンガポール、韓国でのデータレジデンシー(地域内データ保存)を新たに提供開始した。
アジアにおけるデータレジデンシーを導入し、OpenAIによるエンタープライズグレードのプライバシー、セキュリティ、コンプライアンスプログラムを強化する。すでにKakao、ソフトバンク、Grab、シンガポール航空など、数百の会社や組織が活用しているという。

保存データにはAES-256、転送中のデータにはTLS 1.2以上を使用し、OpenAIと顧客間、ならびにOpenAIとサービスプロバイダー間の通信を保護
顧客データをモデル学習に利用しない
ChatGPT のビジネスプランおよびAPIでは、明示的な同意がない限りデータはモデル学習に使用されない
