熊本 八代 球磨川で遊んでいた中学生が流され死亡
15日午後、熊本県八代市で川で遊んでいた中学生が流され、警察などが捜索を進めたところ、現場付近で発見されましたが、死亡が確認されました。警察が詳しい状況を調べています。
15日午後3時15分ごろ、熊本県八代市渡町を流れる球磨川で、「遊泳中の男の子が川に流され、姿が見えなくなった」と近くにいた人から消防に通報がありました。
警察や消防がヘリコプターや水難救助隊などを出して捜索を進めたところ、およそ2時間後に、市内に住む中学生の内田謙信さん（13）が現場付近で見つかり、病院に搬送されましたが、その後、死亡が確認されました。
警察や消防によりますと、合わせて6人ほどで川遊びに来ていたということで、警察が詳しい状況を調べています。
現場は球磨川沿いにあるキャンプ場付近です。
