機内持ち込みのモバイルバッテリー「収納棚に入れないで」
国土交通省は、7月8日から、航空機内でのモバイルバッテリーの取り扱いルールを変更する。新たに、機内に持ち込むモバイルバッテリーは座席上の収納棚に入れず、常に状態を確認できる場所に保管することが求められる。
スマートフォンやタブレット、ゲーム端末などの普及により、モバイルバッテリーの持ち込みは増加傾向。リチウムイオン電池を内蔵するこれらの製品は、衝撃や過充電により発煙・発火の恐れがある。国内外の航空機内でも、モバイルバッテリーによるトラブルが報告されており、今年1月に韓国・金海空港で発生した航空機火災も、モバイルバッテリーの発火が原因と指摘されている。
現在も国際基準に基づき、モバイルバッテリーを預け入れ荷物に含めることは禁止されており、機内持ち込みも個数や容量に制限が設けられている
具体的な変更点は以下の2点。
・モバイルバッテリーを座席上の収納棚に入れない
・モバイルバッテリーを使用して機器を充電する場合や、機内電源からバッテリーを充電する場合は、常に状態を確認できる場所で行なうこと
