スバル レガシィ生産終了へ
スバルの伝統モデルが、ついに姿を消す。

4月23日、スバルの北米法人は、現行「レガシィ」の生産終了を発表した。
レガシィは北米市場をメインターゲットとし、1989年に登場。かつて存在したステーションワゴンは廃止され、現行モデルはセダンのみとなっている。デビュー以来、同市場では累計130万台以上販売されたという。
現行モデルは2019年登場の7代目 で、「スバルグローバルプラットフォーム」（SGP）を採用する。発表された2025年モデルは、2024年モデルと同一仕様だ。
現行レガシィの生産終了時期は、2025年春とのこと。次期モデル投入については不明だ。なお、「アウトバック」（日本市場ではレガシィ アウトバック）の生産は継続される。
