日本サイバー犯罪対策センターに警察庁長官から感謝状、国際共同捜査への協力を評価

　一般財団法人日本サイバー犯罪対策センター（JC3）は9月17日、警察庁長官から感謝状を授与されたと発表した。

　インド共和国の法執行機関である中央捜査局（CBI）は、日本の警察庁と国際共同捜査を進め、2025年5月28日にインド国内でテクニカルサポート詐欺の被疑者6人を逮捕するとともに、関係先19ヶ所の捜索を行ったことを公表しているが、そのうち2ヶ所の違法な偽コールセンターではマイクロソフトのカスタマーサポートになりすまし、日本人を対象に詐欺を行っていたという。

　JC3は、マイクロソフトなどとともに国際共同捜査に対する協力が評価され、警察庁長官から感謝状を授与されている。

　JC3では、日本人を対象にしたテクニカルサポート詐欺の活動が再開されていることを確認しており、引続きサポート詐欺の実態を調査し、その脅威を低減・無効化すべく、法執行機関やマイクロソフトなどと連携していくとのこと。
