カシオ、サウナ専用「サ時計」発売 12分計搭載
カシオ計算機は、サウナの中で使用でき、12分計機能を備えたサウナ愛好者専用の腕時計「サ時計」(SAN-100H)を10月17日に発売する。価格は16,500円。カラーはオレンジとブラックの2種類。

人気が高まっているサウナの中での利用に対応した“サウナー”専用の腕時計。設定温度100℃までのサウナにて、腕に装着した状態で15分以内の使用ができる。サウナの経過時間をアナログ針で測れるサウナモード(12分計)を搭載しており、時計表示とボタンひとつで切り替えられる。
耐熱設計に加え、防水設計のケースには湿気の入りにくい樹脂が採用され、時計内部が曇りにくい工夫が施されている。裏蓋のネジは肌に触れにくい構造で、長時間の着用でも不快感を与えないよう配慮されている。バンドは、温浴施設で馴染みのある鍵のカールバンドを採用し、着脱のしやすさもこだわった。
カラーは、オレンジのバンドと白の文字板の「SAN-100H-7B」、バンドと文字板がブラックの「SAN-100H-1B」の2種類。パッケージは特別デザインになる。
腕時計の機能は時刻表示(時・分)、12分計(分・秒)、リセット機能。防水性能は5気圧防水。電池寿命は約5年。本体サイズは約40.2×35.4×12.9mm(縦×横×厚さ)、重量は約25g。
同製品は、カシオのサウナ好き社員のアイデアから始まった企画で、新規事業提案プログラムを経て商品化に至った。2024年には市場調査を兼ねた先行販売が実施され、約2,200台が開始9分ほどで完売するなど高い注目を集めていた。一般販売は未定とされていたが、商品化が決定した形。
