テスラ、AIの「Grok」を搭載(米国)
電気自動車大手のテスラは12日(米国時間)、米国においてAIサービスの「Grok」を搭載すると発表した。

米国のみでの対応で、対象となるのはAMDプロセッサを搭載する「Model S」、「Model 3」、「Model X」、「Model Y「と「サイバートラック」で、ソフトウェアバージョン2025.26以降。また、7月12日以降に納車される新しいテスラ車両にはGrokが搭載される。
Grokにより、テスラ車両は質問に対して、より洞察に富んだ回答を行なえるようになるが、従来の音声コマンドを置き換えるものではなく、Grokが車両にコマンドを発行することはない。なお、会話内容はテスラには匿名で送信され、ユーザーは車両とは関連付けられない。

GrokはテスラCEOのイーロン・マスク氏が率いるxAIが開発しており、10日には最新のGrok 4を公開した。
