新しいホンダ・ヴェゼル登場。見た目も中身も進化した！

4月25日、ホンダは、コンパクトSUV「VEZEL(ヴェゼル)」の改良モデルを発表した。
新しいヴェゼルは、「EXPAND YOUR LIFE」(エクスパンド ユア ライフ) をグランドコンセプトに開発が進められたという。
エクステリアは、フロントグリル、フロントバンパーの形状を変更。また、リヤコンビネーションランプをオールLED化するとともに水平基調の2段のグラフィックに統一した。ボディカラーは新色「シーベットブルー・パール」を設定。さらにヴェゼルとして新たに採用された「スレートグレー・パール」と「ボタニカルグリーン・パール」の2色を含む全7色だ。インテリアは、前席のセンターコンソールを左右対称デザインに変更した程度で、大きな違いはない。
グレードは、ガソリンモデルのG、e:HEV X、e:HEV Zにくわえ、e:HEV X HuNTパッケージ、e:HEV Z PLaYパッケージの2パッケージを新たに設定した。
e:HEV X HuNTパッケージのエクステリアは、ルーフレールや専用アルミホイール、カッパー・メタリック塗装のフォグライトガーニッシュなどを装備。インテリアは、人工皮革「プライムスムース」×ファブリックを使ったシート（カーキ&ネイビーの専用カラー）とした。なお、ファブリック素材は撥水・撥油機能のある「FABTECT(ファブテクト)」とした。
e:HEV Z PLaYパッケージは、従来のe:HEV PLaY同様に2トーンカラーを採用。フロントグリルに配置したトリコロールのアクセントの配色を変更したほか、ドアロアーガーニッシュはブルーに変わった。インテリアは「グレージュ」の色味を変更し、黒とのコントラストを際立たせた。
パワートレインは2モーターハイブリッドシステム「e:HEV」とガソリンモデルの2種類。今回の改良によって前者は、IPU(インテリジェントパワーユニット)のエネルギーマネージメント制御を見直すことで、エンジン始動回数、停止頻度を従来と比較し大幅に低減。さらにPCU(パワーコントロールユニット)の制御をアップデートし、従来以上にアクセルレスポンスを向上させた。
駆動方式のうち4WDは、滑りやすい路面でのトラクションコントロールのブレーキ介入タイミングを見直し、より安心感のある発進・加速を追求した。
シャシー性能も、ハイブリッドモデルは手がくわえられた。ダッシュボード、ルーフ、フロアの各遮音材と防音材の厚み、配置を最適化し、エンジン始動音やロードノイズを低減させ静粛性を高めた。さらにハイブリッドモデルの前輪駆動車はダンパー減衰力をより緻密に見直し、フラットで無駄のない動きを求め。より快適な乗り心地を目指した。
運転支援システムは、従来の衝突軽減ブレーキ、路外逸脱抑制機能、渋滞追従機能付アダプティブ クルーズコントロール、車線維持支援システムの機能向上にくわえ、トラフィックジャムアシスト(渋滞運転支援機能)、急アクセル抑制機能、アダプティブドライビングビー ムの機能を追加した。
新しいヴェゼルの価格はガソリンモデルが264万8800円のモノグレード。ハイブリッドモデルが299万8600～377万6300円だ。
