御嶽山 噴火災害から11年 遺族などが安全な登山を呼びかけ
長野と岐阜の県境にある御嶽山で死者・行方不明者が63人にのぼる噴火が発生してから11年となる27日、遺族などが登山者に安全な登山を呼びかけました。
呼びかけを行ったのは、御嶽山の噴火による犠牲者の遺族などでつくる「山びこの会」のメンバー5人です。
27日朝は、長野県王滝村にある登山口で、山頂を目指す登山者に「登山前の情報収集」「万全な装備」などとメッセージが書かれたキーホルダーを手渡しながら、安全な登山を呼びかけました。
会では災害の教訓をいかそうと、4年前から噴火が起きた日にあわせて御嶽山の登山口で啓発活動をしています。
愛知県から訪れた40代の男性は「安全のためにヘルメットを持ってきました。特別な日なのでキーホルダーを身につけて亡くなった方たちを思いながら登ります」と話していました。
会の事務局代表を務めるシャーロック英子さんは「噴火を知らない方もいたので、キーホルダーを見て安全登山の心得を思い出してほしい。風化を防ぐためにも地道な活動ですが続けていきます」と話していました。
