ダイソーに公式キャラ「だいぞう」 オリジナルグッズ展開
大創産業は26日、DAISO 公式キャラクター「だいぞう」を発表した。同日にリニューアルオープンした都内最大店舗の「DAISO アルカキット錦糸町店」でお披露目を行なった。

DAISO 公式キャラクターは、国内外のグループ全従業員を対象に募集した392点のキャラクター案の中から誕生。一次審査で32点に、二次審査の社内人気投票で10点に絞り込まれ、ブランドイメージとの親和性、親しみやすさ、覚えやすさなど総合的な評価で選ばれ、「ダイソー」にちなんで「だいぞう」と名付けられた。
ブランドカラーのピンクをポイントに、鼻としっぽに大創産業のロゴのスリーアローズをあしらっている。トレードマークは、丸みのあるフォルムに、DAISOの「D」をかたどったポシェット。出身地は広島県で、誕生日は12月5日。身長は100.3cm、体重は100.3kg。
だいぞうオリジナルグッズも用意し、ぬいぐるみやチャーム、パッケージにだいぞうをデザインしたウェットティッシュなども販売する。
■ ダイソー3ブランド旗艦店
だいぞうの発表にあわせ、都内最大店舗の「DAISO アルカキット錦糸町店」も同日にリニューアルオープンし、同店にだいぞうの等身大フィギュアとフォトブースを設置している。
同店はこれまでDAISOとTHREEPPYで構成していたが、リニューアルによりStandard Productsが加わり、3ブランドの旗艦店となる。
約828坪と都内最大売場面積を活かし、特に「収納」「ソックス」「アクセサリー類」などの品揃えを強化。レジは有人のほか、キャッシュレス決済のレジを24台から27台に拡充した。
アルカキット錦糸町店の所在地は、東京都墨田区錦糸2-2-1 アルカキット錦糸町7階。
