映画「鬼滅の刃」北米でも公開 初の週末の興行収入 トップに
日本で記録的なヒットとなっている人気漫画『鬼滅の刃』を原作にしたアニメーション映画の最新作がアメリカなどでも公開され、最初の週末の興行収入が推計で7000万ドルに達し、北米でトップになりました。アメリカのメディアは日本のアニメ映画としては歴代首位を更新したと伝えています。
ことし7月に日本で公開されたアニメーション映画「劇場版『鬼滅の刃』無限城編 第一章 猗窩座再来」は、今月12日からアメリカとカナダでも上映が始まりました。
アメリカの調査会社などによりますと、公開後、最初の週末となった14日までの3日間の興行収入は推計で7000万ドル、日本円でおよそ103億円に達し、北米でトップになりました。
アメリカの複数のメディアによりますと、これは1999年に「劇場版ポケットモンスターミュウツーの逆襲」が記録した3100万ドルを超え、公開後初めての週末の興行収入では日本のアニメ映画として歴代首位になったとしています。
映画は、人気漫画を原作とした新たな劇場版3部作の1作目として国内でも記録的な興行収入となっていて、ブルームバーグは「世界的なアニメ人気の高まりをあらためて示した」と伝えています。
