ばんえい競馬 3日からのレースも中止 馬インフルエンザ影響で
北海道帯広市が主催する「ばんえい競馬」の競走馬の間で「馬インフルエンザ」の感染拡大が続いているとして、市は28日までの3日間に続き、5月3日からの3日間に予定されていたレースについても中止することを決めました。
4月25日、帯広競馬場のきゅう舎で飼育されている「ばんえい競馬」の競走馬3頭が馬インフルエンザに感染していることが確認され、「ばんえい競馬」を主催する帯広市は、4月26日から28日までの3日間に開催が予定されていたレースを中止しました。
市によりますとその後も感染拡大は続き、およそ700頭いる競走馬のうち、27日の時点で200頭近くに馬インフルエンザでみられる発熱や鼻水などの症状が出ているということです。
このため市は大型連休中の5月3日から5日までの3日間に予定されていたレースについても中止することを決めました。
期間中、競馬場で予定されていたイベントは開催するということです。
馬インフルエンザは馬が感染するウイルス性の感染症で、2、3週間で回復し、人に感染することはないということです。
帯広市では、引き続ききゅう舎周辺の消毒や競走馬の移動の制限といった感染対策を徹底することにしています。
