PayPay銀行、1億円まで2%金利預金が可能に 手数料還元や新機能も
PayPay銀行とPayPayは9月より、円普通預金と米ドル普通預金の両方に預け入れると、それぞれに年2%(税引後年1.59%)の特別金利が適用される定常プログラム「ドル&円2%預金」において、円普通預金への特別金利の適用上限額を500万円から1億円へ引き上げた。

また、米ドル普通預金では、月末時点での残高が3万ドル以上ある個人ユーザーを対象に、当月に発生した為替手数料を全額キャッシュバックするキャンペーンも開始。たとえば、1ドル150円で500万円を米ドルに換えた場合、通常かかる為替手数料の1,666円が還元される。期間は12月31日まで。
このほか、PayPay銀行アプリにおいて、10年後の推計資産額を可視化できる「預金シミュレーション」機能も追加した。本機能は、任意の預入金額を入力すると、ドル&円2%預金に10年間預けた際の推計資産額を試算できるもので、PayPayアプリ内の「PayPay銀行」ミニアプリからも利用できる。
