南海難波駅に新観光列車専用「0番のりば」 高野山の神聖さを表現
南海電鉄は、25年度末の運行開始を予定している新たな観光列車の導入にあわせ、難波駅1番線の降車専用ホームを、新観光列車専用「0(ゼロ)番のりば(仮称)」として美装化する。25年度末完成予定。

南海電鉄では現在運行中の観光列車「天空」(橋本駅～極楽橋駅間運行)に代わる、難波駅と極楽橋駅を結ぶ新たな観光列車の運行を予定している。内装やインテリアの高級感、各車両に特色を持たせた快適な座席、パノラマビューを楽しめる車窓などを特徴としている。
0番のりばは単なる乗降の場ではなく、「高野山の神聖な雰囲気を表現した空間」を目指し、難波から高野山へと続く“高野路”の旅の始まりを演出する。
現在、難波駅2階中央改札口ではリニューアル工事を実施している。南海電鉄のターミナルとしての歴史や、大阪難波の街の多様性を表現するため、すべてを受容する色として白を基調とし、ゆるやかな曲線をデザインしながら明るく近未来的な空間へと刷新する。
0番のりばでは、照明による誘導や曲線的なデザインといった要素を引き継ぎながら、目的地のカラーや沿線地域ゆかりの素材を取り入れ、「難波の“波動”が沿線地域へと広がり、それぞれの地域の魅力と共鳴し合う」という想いを表現する。
美装化工事は8月1日に深夜から開始し、8月2日初列車から難波駅1番線の降車専用ホームは利用できなくなる。同日以降、1番線ホームを発着する列車では、乗車・降車ともに同じホーム(現在の1番線乗車ホーム)を利用することとなる。
なお、2階中央改札口のリニューアル工事の完成は8月を予定している。
