ナイキ「エア ジョーダン 5 x アウェイク NY」はサイドのAロゴがインパクト抜群！──GQ新着スニーカー
アウェイク ニューヨーク（Awake NY）とジョーダン（Jordan）ブランドがタッグを組み、伝説的な「エア ジョーダン 5」の35周年を記念した特別なコラボレーションを新たに発表。ナイキのアプリ「SNKRS」では8月30日（土）午前9時から販売開始予定。

ティンカー・ハットフィールドが手掛けた1990年のデザインをアレンジした今作は、ニューヨークの5つの区全域に広がる豊かな文化的景観と深く結びついたブランドの視点を通して、エア ジョーダン 5を表現している。ギザギザのミッドソール、目を引く履き口、ベント入りの透明なパネルを、上質なブラックレザーのアッパーと組み合わせた。レーサーブルーのアクセントで、アイコニックなデザインにエネルギーをプラス。
ジョーダンとアウェイク ニューヨークのパートナーシップを強化し、両ブランドのレーサーブルーのロゴがメタリックシルバーのシュータンに鮮やかに映え、透明なアウトソールから同じロゴが透けて見えるデザインを配し、アウェイク NYのシグネチャーである「A」のロゴが通気性のあるサイドパネルに施されている。
右足のシューズのヒール外側の「23」は「NY」に置き換えられているが、左足のシューズはオリジナルのままだ。外から見えるNike Airクッショニングに加え、かかとにクラシックなNike Airのロゴをあしらっている。仕上げは、クリアなシューレースロックと特別なパッケージ。オリジナルのアイコニックな要素をすべて取り入れ、マイケル・ジョーダンがコートで履いたシューズの中で最も愛されたモデルの1つをニューヨーク風にアレンジ！
