臓器提供の意思表示 “していない”が76％ 政府の世論調査
移植医療に関する政府の世論調査で、臓器を提供するかどうかの意思表示をしていないと回答した人は全体の76％でした。厚生労働省の担当者は「提供する、しないのどちらも意思表示をすることができるので、啓発に力を入れたい」としています。
内閣府はことし7月から8月にかけて全国の18歳以上の3000人を対象に移植医療に関する世論調査を郵送で行い1391人から回答を得ました。
それによりますと臓器移植に
▽「関心がある」と答えたのは全体の62％で
▽「関心がない」の35％を大きく上回りました。
臓器を提供するかどうかの意思表示の方法として知っているものを複数回答で尋ねたところ
▽運転免許証が67％
▽健康保険証が50％
▽マイナンバーカードが39％
▽意思表示カードが31％などとなりました。
さらに意思表示についての考えを尋ねたところ
▽「意思表示をしている」が全体の21％だった一方
▽「意思表示をしていない」が76％でした。
していない理由を複数回答で聞いたところ
▽「抵抗感があるから」と
▽「不安感があるから」がともに28％で最も多くなりました。
厚生労働省の担当者は「臓器提供をする、しないのどちらも意思表示をすることができるので、さらに啓発に力を入れていきたい」としています。
