“トロッコ電車”黒部峡谷鉄道 今季一部区間での運行開始 富山
「トロッコ電車」の愛称で知られる富山県の「黒部峡谷鉄道」が20日、今シーズンの運行を始めました。鉄道は能登半島地震で被災して復旧に時間がかかっているため、ことしも一部区間での運行です。
富山県黒部市の「黒部峡谷鉄道」は、冬の間は雪に閉ざされるため営業を休止しますが、今シーズンの運行が20日から始まり、始発の宇奈月駅で出発式が行われました。
式典では、運転士が安全運転への決意を述べたあとテープカットが行われ、国内外の観光客を乗せたトロッコ電車が出発しました。
車内から見える、満開の桜や、ダムの湖面と新緑の木々が織り成す絶景に、乗客から歓声が上がっていました。
黒部峡谷鉄道は、去年の能登半島地震で橋が破損し、復旧に時間がかかっているため、昨シーズンに続き、ことしも一部区間での運行です。
東京から来た30代の女性は「初めて来ましたが、新緑が美しくすばらしい景色でした。全線開通したらまた来たいです」と話していました。
黒部峡谷鉄道の谷本悟チーフマネージャーは「全線開通できない中でも、去年は50万人を超える人に来てもらい、観光電車の潜在力を実感しました。おもてなしを充実させて期待にこたえたいです」と話していました。
