「エンディング産業」の最前線を紹介する展示会 東京 江東区
人生の終わり方を考える「終活」への関心が高まる中、葬儀や相続などの「エンディング産業」の最前線を紹介する展示会が10日から、東京・江東区で始まりました。
10日から始まった「エンディング産業展」には、およそ200の企業や団体が出展し、最新の技術を活用したさまざまなサービスを紹介しています。
このうち、AI技術を使った新たな追悼コンテンツとして、故人の表情や声などを再現した動画を作ることができるサービスでは、故人のメッセージの履歴などを学習させれば、口調やことばづかいまで再現できるということです。
また、インターネット上の仮想空間「メタバース」で、お別れの会を開くことができるサービスも紹介されていて、どこにいても「アバター」を通じて献花や記帳などを行うことができます。
このほか、亡くなった人のSNSアカウントや写真データなど、“デジタル遺品”の整理を請け負うサービスや、巨大な前方後円墳に集団で納骨するサービスなどさまざまな取り組みが紹介されていました。
一方、家族の一員としてペットを供養するためのサービスも広がっていて、ペットの写真をもとにした人形型の仏壇や、遺骨で作ったアクセサリーなどの商品が紹介されています。
展示会を主催した葬儀会社の野口龍馬社長は「終活ということばが定着し、多くの人が遺族に迷惑をかけずに自分の最期をどう描くのかを考えるようになっています。多様化するニーズの中で、あらゆるサービスが発展していると感じています」と話していました。
この展示会は11日まで開かれています。
