5月7日、ボルボは、新型「XC70」の一部情報を発表した。
新型XC70は、中国市場をメインに開発されたSUVである。同市場におけるプラグインハイブリッドモデルの需要増に対応するためだ。
満充電時の航続可能距離は200kmを目標とする。ボディサイズは「XC60」よりわずかに大きいという。エクステリアデザインは最新の「XC90」を彷彿とさせる。
新型XC70は2025年後半に正式発表予定。中国市場以外での展開も検討中という。
