アメリカ EV駆け込み購入の動き 今月末の税制優遇廃止前に
アメリカでは、EV＝電気自動車を購入した際の税制優遇の措置が9月末で廃止されるのを前に、駆け込みで購入する動きもみられています。
アメリカでは一定の条件を満たしたEVを購入した場合、最大で7500ドル、日本円にしておよそ110万円の税制優遇を受けられますが、トランプ政権は今月末でこの措置を廃止します。
これを前に駆け込みで購入する動きもみられていて、ニューヨーク州にある日系の自動車メーカーの販売店では、8月のEVの売り上げ台数が去年の同じ月より6割あまり増えたということです。
店を訪れた47歳の客は「EVを買おうとは決めていましたが、税制優遇の廃止が購入の決め手になったのは間違いありません。手ごろな価格で購入できました」と話していました。
自動車販売店でゼネラルマネージャーを務めるブライアン・ベンストックさんは「EVは店舗全体の販売台数を伸ばしてくれています。税制優遇の措置がなくなってもできるだけEVの販売を促進していきたい」と話していました。
EVの需要は中長期的には伸びるとみられていますが、措置の廃止に伴って10月以降は一時的に減速することも予想され、自動車メーカー各社は生産する車種の絞り込みなど戦略の見直しを進めています。
