東京海上日動 自動車保険料を10月から平均8.5％値上げへ
損害保険大手の東京海上日動火災保険はことし10月から自動車保険料を平均で8.5％値上げすると明らかにしました。1度の値上げ幅としては最大で、物価の上昇を背景に修理や部品のコストが上がっていることを理由に挙げています。
東京海上日動火災保険はことし10月1日から自動車保険料の水準を平均で8.5％値上げします。値上げの幅は記録が残る2008年以降、最も大きいということです。
会社はことし1月にも平均で3.5％値上げしていて、1年に複数回値上げするのは異例の対応です。
保険料の値上げの理由について、会社は物価の上昇が続き、修理や部品のコストが上がっているほか、事故の件数が高止まりし、保険金の支払いが増加傾向にあるためだとしています。
自動車保険料をめぐっては、損害保険大手の損害保険ジャパン、三井住友海上火災保険、あいおいニッセイ同和損害保険の3社も今年度中の引き上げを検討しています。
