「Yahoo! JAPAN」PC版、トップページにAIアシスタント
LINEヤフーは、PC版「Yahoo! JAPAN」において、検索結果に生成AIによる回答を表示し、AIとチャット形式で質問できる「AIアシスタント」機能を提供開始した。本機能は24年10月より「Yahoo!検索」に実装され、25年4月にはiOS/Android版のYahoo! JAPANにも導入された。

今回の対応により、Yahoo! JAPANのPC版トップページでも、検索窓の横にあるアイコンをクリックするだけでAIアシスタントを利用できるようになった。ユーザーは「友達の誕生日のサプライズで簡単だけど盛り上がるアイデアを教えて」や「もしネコが話せたらどんな会話をすると思う?」といった自然な会話文で質問でき、抽象的な表現にも対応する。
チャット画面には季節やトレンドにあわせた質問例も表示される。また、トップページの左上にも生成AIによるライフハックや雑学などがテキスト表示され、クリックするとチャット画面に遷移し、情報の深掘りが可能。本機能はGoogle CloudのVertex AIを使用している。
