ファミリーマート、セブン銀行の新ATMを導入 金融強化
ファミリーマートは26日、セブン銀行とATM設置について基本合意書を締結した。この提携により、今後は全国のファミリーマート店舗において、セブン銀行によるファミリーマート独自デザインのATMサービスを展開する。
ファミリーマートでは、これまでイーネットのATMを導入してきたが、新たにセブン銀行のATMを導入する。新しいATMサービスは、キャッシュレス決済の現金チャージ機能に対応するなど、利便性の向上を予定している。具体的なサービスブランド名やサービス名称については、今後協議の上、決定する。
セブン銀行ではファミリーマートとのATM設置で合意したほか、ファミリーマート親会社の伊藤忠商事とも資本業務提携を締結。伊藤忠グループ会社との協業を推進し、コンビニ業界での金融サービスプラットフォーマーとしての成長を目指す。
ファミリーマートは、金融サービス事業の強化も発表している。「ファミペイ」アプリの2,700万ダウンロードの基盤と全国16,300の店舗網を活用しながら、独自の金融サービスブランドを展開する方針。同社の金融商品・サービスの独自ブランド「ファミマ・マネーライフ(仮称)」のもと、多角的なサービスを検討していく。
あわせて、クレジットカード「ファミマカード」の全面リニューアルも10月1日から開始。また、ローン・翌月払い(BNPL)サービスの利便性向上などを図っていく。今後は預金や各種ローンなどの金融商品の追加を視野に入れており、銀行代理業許可の取得することも検討していく。
これらの取り組みと新たな多機能ATMの導入により、金融サービス強化を図っていく。
