JR東日本、忘れ物をスマホ検索可能に エリア外も対応
JR東日本は、findが提供する「落とし物クラウド find」を2026年4月に導入し、企業間での忘れ物検索ができる「横断検索」サービスを開始する。

JR東日本では年間約200万件を超える忘れ物を取り扱っているが、これまでは直接駅に行くか、電話やチャットで問い合わせる必要があった。また、検索範囲はJR東日本管内に限られていた。
落とし物クラウド findの導入により、自身のスマホで忘れ物情報を入力して問い合わせられるようになる。検索範囲は、「横断検索」導入企業の管轄エリアまで拡大する。導入企業はJR東日本のほか、京浜急行電鉄、京王電鉄、JR九州、日本交通、高島屋など。
従来通り駅や電話での問い合わせにも対応するが、その場合の検索範囲は引き続きJR東日本管内のみとなる。
あわせて、多言語での忘れ物の問い合わせに対応する「find chat」も開始。アプリのインストール不要で、メールアドレスの認証によってブラウザ上でチャットを開始できる。AIによる画像検索も可能。
駅係員による忘れ物登録も効率化。現在は駅で忘れ物を預かると、係員は手入力で忘れ物の特徴等をシステムに登録する。落とし物クラウド find導入後は、係員が忘れ物の写真を登録すると、AIが忘れ物の特徴等を自動で読み込み、短時間で登録ができるようになる。
