山形 秋の風物詩 巨大な鍋でつくる「日本一の芋煮会」
山形の秋の風物詩で郷土料理として知られる芋煮を巨大な大鍋でつくる「日本一の芋煮会」が、山形市の河川敷で開かれ、多くの人でにぎわっています。
「日本一の芋煮会」は、「三代目鍋太郎」と名付けられた直径6メートル50センチの大鍋で芋煮をつくる催しで、毎年、山形市内の河川敷で開かれ、山形の秋の風物詩となっています。
14日は、会場に里芋3トン余り、長ねぎおよそ3500本、牛肉1トン余りなど、およそ4万食分にあたる大量の食材が用意され、次々と鍋に投入されました。
そして、鍋を囲んだスタッフが、しょうゆや砂糖などの味付けがしみこむようにかきまぜたあと、2台のショベルカーですくい上げて取り分け、ふるまわれました。
訪れた人たちは列に並んで、受け取った出来たての芋煮を味わっていました。
香川県から訪れた50代の夫婦は「大鍋で作っている様子に驚いた。初めて山形の芋煮を食べたが、とてもおいしく、また食べたい」と話していました。
「日本一の芋煮会」は14日午後3時半ごろまで開かれます。
