「ツール・ド・347」宮城と山形結ぶ国道を自転車で駆け抜ける
県境をまたいだ交流を深めようと、宮城県と山形県を結ぶ国道を自転車で走る大会が開かれました。
「ツール・ド・347」と名付けられたこの大会は、宮城県と山形県を結ぶ国道347号線の県境周辺が冬場も通行できるようになったことを記念して8年前に始まり、29日は自転車の愛好家や住民など250人余りが参加しました。
コースは、宮城県加美町のレジャー施設をスタートとゴールに、山形県大石田町で折り返すおよそ120キロのコースなど、3つです。
29日は天気にも恵まれ、参加した人たちは、午前7時から次々にスタートすると、地元の人から声援を受けながら懸命にペダルをこぎ、峠道の多い国道を気持ちよさそうに駆け抜けていました。
参加した50代の女性は、「天気もよく緑もすごくきれいで、走っていて気持ちがいい」と話していました。
また、小学6年生の息子と参加した40代の男性は、「自分の力だけで坂道を登るすがすがしさを、子どもにも楽しんでほしい」と話していました。
