Spotify無料版、「好きな曲を選んで再生」が可能に
音楽配信サービスの「Spotify」は、9月15日から日本を含む全世界でモバイル向け無料プランをアップデートした。無料版でもリスナーが、アーティストページやプレイリストから好きな楽曲を選んで再生できるようになり、広告付きで利用できる。

Spotifyの無料プランは、これまで広告入りでシャッフル再生のみだったが、新たにユーザーがアーティストページやプレイリストから、好きな楽曲を選んで再生可能となり、「聴きたいときに、聴きたい曲を」楽しめるようになった。サブスクリプションなしでも直感的な音楽体験が可能としている。
また、無料プランのユーザーも、友人から送られてきた楽曲リンクやSNSで見つけた楽曲リンクから、直接その曲を再生できるようになった。
なお、Spotifyの有料プラン「Premium Standard」は月額1,080円。9月10日には、有料会員限定で日にはロスレス配信(44.1kHz/24bit)がスタートしている。
