トランプ政権 G7各国にインドや中国への関税引き上げ要請へ
アメリカのトランプ政権は12日、G7＝主要7か国の会議でロシアから原油などを購入しているインドや中国への関税を引き上げるよう要請する方針です。
アメリカのトランプ政権は8月、インドがウクライナ侵攻を続けるロシアから原油や石油製品を購入していることを理由に、インドからの輸入品に課している追加関税を50％に引き上げました。
こうした中、アメリカ政府の関係者によりますと、G7の財務相・中央銀行総裁会議が12日、オンライン形式で開かれ、アメリカは各国に対してロシアから原油などを購入しているインドや中国への関税を引き上げるよう要請する方針です。
イギリスの経済紙、フィナンシャル・タイムズは、アメリカが50％から100％の関税を課すことを提案すると伝えています。
アメリカ財務省の報道担当者は、EU＝ヨーロッパ連合にもすでに連携を呼びかけたことを明らかにしたうえで「インドと中国による原油の購入はロシアの資金源となっていて、G7もともに歩みを進める必要がある」と強調しています。
