メルカリ、「全額補償サポート」開始
メルカリは7月1日、取引中のトラブルに対して購入代金や販売利益を全額補償する「全額補償サポートプログラム」の提供を開始した。また、安全な取引のための情報を集約した「安心・安全ポータルサイト」も同日に公開している。
導入された全額補償サポートは、「届いた商品が説明と異なる」「届いた商品が壊れていた」など、当事者間での解決が難しいトラブルに対して、一定の条件を満たした場合にメルカリ事務局が確認のうえ、購入者には支払い代金、出品者には販売利益を補償(梱包資材費、各種手数料等を除く)するもの。追加料金は発生しない。補償対象となる取引は7月1日以降に開始されたものに限られ、メルカリShopsでの取引や、他の補償制度(メルカード ゴールドのショッピング保険)が適用される場合は対象外。
適用には、eKYCによる本人確認やメルカリ便の利用、ガイドラインや規約の遵守など5つの条件をすべて満たす必要がある。対象商品は回収センターに送付する形で対応される。

・配達完了日の翌日から14日以内に事務局へ問い合わせをしている
・「出品者ガイドライン」または「購入者ガイドライン」を守り正しく利用している
・過去の取引を含め、「ルールとマナー」および「利用規約」を守り正しく利用している
併せて公開された安心・安全ポータルサイトでは、安全な取引の進め方やトラブル発生時の対処法、24時間365日の監視体制や不正対策といったメルカリの取り組みを紹介している。同社は5月に「不正利用者の徹底的な排除」と「お客さまの徹底的な救済」を掲げる新方針を発表しており、今回の施策はその一環。今後は不正利用の状況や取り組みの成果を「透明性レポート」として定期的に開示する方針で、8月に初回のレポートを公開する。
