ガザ地区 “人道状況 最悪の状況 飢きんの深刻な危機に直面”
パレスチナのガザ地区では、軍事作戦を続けるイスラエル軍が、2か月余りにわたって支援物資の搬入を認めておらず、パレスチナ赤新月社は、人道状況が戦闘開始以来、最悪の状況となり「住民は飢きんの深刻な危機に直面している」と指摘し、停戦の実現を強く求めました。
パレスチナのガザ地区では、イスラエル軍がイスラム組織ハマスを壊滅するとして軍事作戦を続けていて、6日も広い範囲で攻撃が続き、住民5人が死亡したと伝えられました。
さらにイスラエル軍はことし3月以降、ハマスに渡るのを防ぐためとして人道支援物資の搬入を認めておらず、人道状況は悪化の一途をたどっています。
パレスチナ赤新月社は5日、ガザ地区では必要不可欠な食料が枯渇しているとしたうえで「住民は飢きんの深刻な危機に直面している。状況はこれまでの19か月間よりも深刻だ」と指摘し、国際社会に対して停戦の実現に向けて直ちに行動を起こすよう求めました。
一方、イスラエル政府は、ガザ地区での軍事作戦を拡大するとともに、人道支援物資のガザ地区への搬入を再開する計画についても決定したと地元メディアが報じました。
これについてイスラエル軍のラジオ局は、すでに掌握している南部ラファに配給拠点を設けることで、北部から南部への住民の移動を加速させると伝えました。
また、物資の配給はアメリカの団体や、民間企業によって運営され、物資がハマスに渡ることなく厳重に管理されるなどと報じました。
ただ国連は4日、声明で「イスラエル当局が国連や人道支援団体による既存の配給の仕組みを停止しようとしている」などと批判し、国連などによる物資搬入の再開を求めています。
